Marketing Assistant
Job Responsibilities

Perform market research for APMD clients including competitive analysis, industry specific news and education through web searches, social media, podcasts, message boards, etc. (Help me brainstorm)

Information and data collection for APMD clients including community events, audience and partner profiles profiles, networking opportunities, relevant photos, etc. (Collect and organize all the information)

Social Media research: may include trend watches, competitive research, coming up with content ideas, or rough draft copywriting. (This is a professional way of saying "doom scroll for content ideas that align with our target audiences preferences")

Occasional administrative tasks ex: sending monthly invoices or occasional lead follow-up (e-mail) and communication on behalf of APMD (Please send my invoices for me so we both get paid).

Probably some other stuff that I can't think of right now, but you won't be picking up my dry cleaning or getting my coffee. (Nothing to add here, I mean it. I don't do dry clean only).
Requirements

Must be professional, well-written and responsive with ability to work independently.

Experience with Instagram and Facebook required.

Local to Delaware (New Castle or Kent County preferred).

Ability to stay aligned with current client strategy.

Strong interest in local community, small businesses, local area.

Unfazed by a potty mouth.
Benefits & Pay
This is an extremely part-time position, 5-10 hours per week to start. It offers a flexible schedule, where you can work from home (or anywhere you want) at your desired hours.
While there is opportunity for travel and event attendance, this is not a requirement of the position.
Paid, in-person onboarding will be provided. Pay is determined by level of experience and will be on a hourly rate, issued via 1099.
